international ambitions
At 16, Bertine moved from Tromsø to Sandefjord to pursue showjumping more seriously. After gaining international experience in Belgium, she is now based in Germany, working with Olympic medallist Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Alongside competing with her own horse, she trains and competes the stable’s young horses.
Representing Norway has been an important part of Bertine’s development as a rider. In 2024, she was selected for the Norwegian Junior Showjumping Team and represented Norway at the Nordic-Baltic Championship.
